The One Big Beautiful Bill: What the New Tax Law Means to You
The One Big Beautiful Bill, signed into law on July 4, extends key provisions of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act while introducing new rules for individuals and businesses. Highlights include extended tax brackets, higher standard and SALT deductions, and a new “bonus” deduction for seniors. Some changes take effect immediately, while others phase in by 2026 or expire in later years.
